Delivering newsletters today…

Quite a busy day..first to collect a new tap to be fitted on Monday..ordered online  click and collect but it was not at B and Q..so..chose one that was in stock. Then to Homebase to see the closing down sale and got a half price Fatsia plant which I will keep indoors as a house plant during the winter.

Very very busy in the High Street shops so I did not buy anything in M and S, just a book token in Waterstones. 

Went round to friends house to check post etc as she is abroad. Two problems..1. A tracked Royal Mail parcel wrongly put through her letterbox , I went to the nearby house and the occupants were very pleased as they had seen the photo of the delivery..to the wrong house and had rung her bell several times. 2. A pile of newsletters which she usually delivers for the Friends of Bushy Park. I know she will have told them she will be away as I recall this happening last year too. So I decided to deliver them myself as all in quite a small area. 

My bike computer had stopped recording so took it to the local bike shop to get a new one..I had looked at manual and done some checks. They had another look before fitting a new one and got it to work…..no charge. Result. So good to have local shops like this.

Hoping to get more presents wrapped this evening.
