A Christmas Sparkle

I had some shopping to do this afternoon but it was raining and quite frankly I couldn’t be bothered.
Instead I did what always used to do when I got home after my last shift before Christmas…no matter what time, I poured the biggest glass of Port possibly and just sipped it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even if it was half eight in the morning after a night shift.
My heart feels warm and happy and I’m at peace with the world!!
