Maple Syrup

One of my emergency meals is Tuna Mornay. There is always some leftover so I make savoury pancakes with it for lunch the next day. 
Then I have leftover pancake mix so it's pancakes for dessert the next night.
They were extra special tonight as I used some of the maple syrup Julia brought when she visited from Canada in September. Apparently it's a staple there and comes in large tins which can sit opened in the fridge until finished. 
She arrived with some for everyone. I'm not sure what her excess baggage charges were.
