Loch of Stenness
Yesterday was horrible weather, but today was glorious and I headed out to Brodgar to take the tour at the archaeology dig at Ness of Brodgar. I first stopped at the hide at Barnhouse which was like an oven and there were no birds around, so I carried on. A juvenile red-breasted merganser was on Loch of Harray with two adult females and then I saw a juvenile red-throated diver struggling to eat a flatfish. I walked on and took some shots before stopping at the dig. Channel 4's Time Team were filming there. See some shots here.
