Masters of Vision

I went to the first day of the Masters of Vision photography exhibition at Southwell Minster today. The Master Photographer at this years exhibition is Joe Cornish. Joe is one of the photographers who truely inspired me. About 10 years ago I was living near Northallerton which is close to where Joe lives, and now has his gallery, so I saw alot of his images in shops around the area, and I really liked his style, and the fact that alot of his pictures were of the the surrounding Yorkshire Landscape. It was while I was living there that I took my first photography course and got my first SLR camera, and started to improve my technique.

In the evening Joe gave a talk about his life in photography, and it was a very entertaining and enlightening evening.
