Chippy t's

Another work lunch today.  At the same place as 2 weeks ago but I chose different food (potted prawns, duck, panna cotta).I dropped in on a colleague before work to pick up a plate shed taken home eith leftovers last time as we had promised to return it and she was not in eirk, having had a kidney stone removed at the weekend.  It was huge.  Afterwards I witnessed a car accident in slow motion.  I'd stopped just before a line of cars parked on the opposite side of the road to allow oncoming traffic to overtake..  The lead car slowed when they were adjacent   to me and the reversed, with the intent of parking at the front of the line but instead hit the car who was following her. The driver jumped out a d began shouting and swearing at her.  It was rather unpleasant as she had a child on board and, as we were outside a primary school, there were lots of other children within earshot.  I can understand why he was angry as it was crazy driving but it was an accident at the end of the day.  A teacher intervened and I had to reverse several car lengths to let the queue that was behind the accident pass.  I then went on my way, noting to not use that road during school hours.

The food at lunchtime was good. The company less so.  I was sat next to 2 people who haven't been working with me that long.  One of them is someone who I've not really warmed to at all. Lunch sadly didn't change that.
