Water again

Very hot here in Ankara again today and being around water helps.

This is a fountain in one of the many delightful parks dotted about the place. It is surrounded by canna I think which is vibrant orange.

Behind the fountain parked amongst cars is a water canon. There were no policeman around. Maybe they had gone home for their tea. Maybe they were reflecting on the more peaceful use of jets of water. Maybe it was just left there as a little reminder.
