FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
I got up early this morning as I wanted to make some mince pies to take to the slimming group Christmas Party. We usually just take syn free or low syn stuff but as it was a party we were allowed to bring healthy food or not so healthy food. Apart from the mince pies I also took some ready cooked Tesco cocktail sausages which were healthy - only 1 syn each.
The party started at 5.30pm so I set off to walk at around 5pm. I went via a postbox and posted a few Christmas cards.
There were quite a few members at the party and there was lots of lovely food. Cakes, cheesecake, mince pies ( mine and some others ) roast potatoes, grapes, cheese, brownies, millionaires shortbread, mulled wine jelly, Pringles, quiche, meatballs,dips- and more. I think I had a bit of everything. I certainly didn't want any more food when I got home. I gained one pound this evening.... and Im OFF PLAN now over the festive period and will go back to group sometime in the New Year.
The weather today was dull and this evening when I was out it was bitterly cold.
