Small Tortoiseshell
Sorry but I changed my blip tonight, I uploaded a tiny capsid earlier but decided this colourful tortoiseshell butterfly really should be tonight's blip.
Why ! Well the only butterflies I have seen in the garden have been green veined whites, small whites and a tiny common blue but today we were lucky to have a whole brood of them on the wild flowers.
I liked the full on image of this butterfly which had settled on a single leaf for long enough to get a quick blip. I know it's not completely sharp but I really liked the bright colours and patterns.
Still trying to catch up with all you wonderful fellow blippers who left positive and inspiring comments on my 730 blipday. Thank you everyone I really will try to answer each of you but it will take time as we are planning to head off on another camper van trip, tonight or early tomorrow.
Decision made we'll be off in about 5 minutes , so thanks for stopping by , will catch up when we get back.
