Reliably on time

The Orchid Oncidium Twinkle normally flowers around Christmas time and this year is  again on time. There are 4 sprays of flowers and this is the most advanced with each bloom smaller than the nail on my little finger - no noticeable perfume.
Today has been cold, cloudy, and showery with brisk northerly wind. Not a day for gardening but more indoor jobs to tick off the list.
