Windy (Day 3510)

I had no work planned for today, and was able to sleep a bit later than usual, so Sigyn's first wander of the day was in daylight. It felt cold in the strong wind.
A little later, my beautiful wife headed across to the horses. The weather was forecast to be fairly poor all day and we thought George, Red and Robin needed their rugs on, and Jeepers needed an extra one. We sorted them out with rugs, then got the hay distributed and the water topped up. I sat in the shelter of the wall and next to George as he tucked in to a pile of hay. He watched me out of the corner of his eye the whole time.
Back home for lunch, then I took Sigyn for another wander. There were occasional snow flurries and several hail showers while we were out, and I was glad to be back home.
Once I was warmed up, I unloaded the van and headed to town to collect more pellets for the boiler while HV was away getting her hair done.
The rest of the afternoon has been spent doing very little apart from taking up space on the couch.
The sciatica is still brutally painful a lot of the time even though I am taking it easy. Standing relatively still for any length of time makes me sore for hours afterwards. There is still no news of the MRI.
