The Iconic Christmas Flower

Makes you feel all Christmassy, doesnt it? No, no. What am I saying? They generally appear a good few months into the New Year. But these have decided they can't wait that long. 

And I know why..... it's because people insist on putting their decorations up in October. It has confused the plants, they just don't stand a chance! 

People, for the sake of the daffodils, let's stop this urgently. 

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
