Another Anemone
One of very few photos taken today, far too tired.
Was hoping to bring you a gratitude project update this evening on the blog but didn't get anything typed up last night. Went to bed early with my headache and tinnitus to sleep them off ready for Monday morning work but was woken just gone midnight by a noise outside.
Stella bravely let me go first to investigate, (guard dog, my ****!) and it turned out one of the guy ropes on the gazebo had broken and the whole thing was threatening to take off! I wouldn't mind (I would) but I'd double checked it earlier in the day as my Dad was on his travels nearby and would have come and dismantled it with me if it were showing signs of strain. Also it seemed far less stormy than the night before!
With a great deal of stress and strain, persistence and pain, rattling in the rain, (plus occasional bad language) I got the thing down, collapsed and dragged it indoors. One occasion where having a man about the house would've been very welcome!
Went back to bed rather wobbly (physically *and* mentally as Facebook friends will have noticed at silly o' clock), stuck on a migraine patch so I could sleep and woke feeling only slightly less rubbish when the alarm went off.
Finally felt safe to drive about 10am but a constant tiredness has stayed with me today.
Stella got slightly unsettled by thunderstorms earlier but since changing to raw food her recovery time is so much quicker! Another thing to be grateful for :)
