sunshine!
Last year I had loads of goldfinches visiting my sunflowers, and showers of husks on the ground from seeds. This year my sunflowers are planted in a different place, and cornflowers are in their place. This morning, there were goldfinches on my cornflowers, still in bloom, pecking at them! I wonder if the birds remembered my sunflowers and came to find them, and thought they would have a go at pecking the cornflowers instead?
