My best card

This is so beautifully and carefully made. The picture part of it is only 6cm across. The artist is actually the partner of blipper Snapjax. I’ve seen other examples of her work - she creates collages of tiny pieces of paper, carefully and precisely cut. I think it’s really lovely.
I spent quite a lot of the morning making a cake. It had chopped apricots, pistachios and fresh apple. Quite a slow job, but it was actually very nice Sad that M is leaving Oxfam, but I completely understand her reasons. And we already have a date planned to go for a walk in the new year.
I left Oxfam early to fetch my friend S from Southmead Hospital. She has problems with back pain and had been for a pain control injection. I was terribly conscious of driving very carefully - but in fact she felt fine, and the usual pain had all gone. In the morning, while I was still baking, there was a delivery. I could see it was flowers so I told the guy it wasn’t for me. But it was! S had sent me flowers as a thank you, before I’d even done anything:)!
