Partly cloudy ....

... was the forecast for Brisbane weather today. Which was very welcome after we've had 150mm (6 inches) of rain in the last week, with some local flooding. 

I took the photo from our balcony at breakfast time. The long thin cloud is a jet trail, left by Singapore Airlines flight SQ285 en-route from Singapore to Auckland, as it passed over Brisbane at 36,000 feet (according to the Flight Radar App).
