Crab Season Cometh

Opening of crab season is not until Aug. 15 but there is lots to do to get ready to catch crab. We have to take the boat to the spit to launch it and motor it to our beach. We love crab and all that goes with it. We will have quite a few friends here to catch, cook and eat crab.
At any rate my husband and son have been doing lots of work on the beach to be able to put the crab pots in the water, to cook the crab and then have dinner on the beach. There was lots of storm damage this past winter so the clean up and repair is taking more time than usual but it is worth it.
