Precious things

Finally got the china cabinet home that I bought. The intention was to paint it to look 'shabby chic' but after the lady I bought it from told me it had been her Mothers 21st birthday present in the 1940s I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Anyway now it contains my Mums dinner service my Dad passed on to me. It has only been out for Christmas dinner since it was bought nearly 30 years ago. I also have her collection of paper weights and perfume bottles that all look lovely. Very happy with it.
