New bed

With a little help from a friend this evening, I managed to get the bed I started building at the weekend finished. This will be my spare bed and, as it is a day bed, will work as a kind of sofa when not in use as a bed. Happy with it and just have to build the drawer that goes underneath.

The day started with a bit of drama, though, with police raiding the house opposite me. I was working at home today and came back from my short before work walk to find a crowd of people, who turned out to be police officers outside the house on the other side of the road from me and it looked like they had just forced their way into the house. They then spent a couple of hours in and around the house, apparently searching it. Not what I expected to see around here!

Thankfully the rest of the day was uneventful!
