The Motion

A couple of days left and on holidays for the Christmas. Finished up with one of the classes today, mostly of Ukranian people who are learning English. They gave me a present for Christmas, they are such a thoughful and respectful group of people. I hope the war ends soon for them and they can return home. One of the other Ukranian students I had last year is still studying here with us. Her husband and son are in one of the areas most threatened by the war. You can see the pain in her face. She always tries to be positive but I think things are wearing her  down. We don't know how lucky we are.
