About Me

The photo seems like a bit of a cheat but it shows what I am all about - my children, Geoff and Agnes!

Me - well here is some of what has made me who I am -

Born - August 1961, Colchester, Essex
Siblings - two younger brothers
1979 - aged 18 married Steven, moved to a farm just north of Cambridge
1984 - Tim was born
1986 - Jon arrived
1988 - he was followed by Becca
1989 - last but not least Christopher
1996 - returned to college then University to study accounts (only managed 2 years)
1999 - divorced after nearly twenty years
2000-2005 married to Ian - should have remained friends rather than marrying
2000-present working at the Genome Campus organising courses for scientists.
2005 - met Geoff
2005-2009 - kept our relationship going by the two of us commuting between Rugby and Saffron Walden, later Clavering.
2009 - Geoff and his Mum moved down.
2010 - Married Geoff in December
2012 - became a grand parent thanks to Chris and Maddie bringing Agnes into my life.
Right here and now - very happy with my life with Geoff. Slightly emotional at the moment as Chris arrived last week for a holiday here, Maddie and Agnes arrive tomorrow and then will be heading home to New Zealand on the 20 August, Jon, and Dana, after trying a job back here is heading back to work and live in Bangkok (they spent a couple of years in Korea and then the same in Bangkok, coming back here in February) on the 18 August, Tim is living, working and studying in London, Becca is living and working in Brighton.
