Art Gallery - windows and stars

We went to town on various missions but one of them was to look at the latest exhibitions in Härnösand Art Gallery.  One of the exhibitions was wonderful; playful, colourful glass sculptures. The other exhibition was less interesting!
However, it was the building itself, with its strange windows, filled with sunlight today, that really caught my attention. Although it was only a few minutes after noon the sun is still so low in the sky that the shadows are almost horizontal. (See the extra.)
The strangeness of the building is the way the builders of the staircase more-or-less ignored the placement of the windows, as can be seen in both the main picture and the extra (taken on the next flight of stairs and showing the top of this upper right window).
Backblip from yesterday. Today's blip is in place but much less interesting.
