A Star? What Could It Be?

We have run the errant shepherds to ground. 

They were suitably repentant for abandoning their sheep to the care of a single dog and were reassured to learn that the flock was safe. I was told that they had been distracted by the sight of something in the sky and were determined to investigate, not realising that in doing so they had missed an angelic message and completely by-passed a Very Important Location. And it turned out that it wasn't the ISS after all, just an ornament on the Big Twig that Mrs Flum hangs stuff on now and then 

We have guided them back to their own place on the Flum Extended Nativity Scene but we may leave the dog there to round up shepherds if they wander off again
