Christmas Is Coming!
Today has been lovely. Little Man and I went to Utrecht to do the last of our Christmas shopping. I know I could have done it in Woerden but I thought it would be great to go to Utrecht as it means that there were trains involved. For those of you who spend time around little boys you know how much they love machinery. Little Man is no exception. He really enjoyed the whole experience. We got what we needed and then came home. There was fault with the payment terminal on the bus to and from Woerden, so we didn't pay. Well, I didn't pay, Little Man is free until he turns 11 (children don't pay for bus travel here if the accompanying adult is).
As we were wondering through Woerden, we had a bit of time to kill before our bus arrived, I thought I'd give the Blipfoto Community Challenge a try. I love Christmas lights as they're all sparkly and seem to lift the darkness a bit. The joys of winter in the northern hemisphere is the long nights and the short days. I'm just grateful we don't live above the artic cycle, as polar day (endless sunlight in summer) and polar night (endless darkness in winter) takes a certain type of person to live with, which I'm not.
