Sad
I had an early start today when, between breakfast and walking Django, I had a call with PhD student Y, who is in China. She's away for a while, so I was pleased that she had requested the meeting.
Then, when I was walking Django in the Estate, I had a message from Hodge - who was, presumably, following me on "Turf TV" - to say that he'd found one of the Low Pond swans dead yesterday. This pair has been a familiar sight for years, so it was sad to see the survivor paddling around alone.
Back home, I my plan had been to continue programming, but I ended up advising a user and a collaborator, and investigating the behaviour of HiGHS on their problems. Hence the pile of outstanding issues to be tackled creeps to 100!
Daughter L is cooking again this evening, so I'm posting here as I wait.
