With rain forecast for 9.30 I was out an hour earlier for a walk down to the shops. I looked for some Christmas window displays for my blip and while there were a number, only this one was lit.

When passing the bookshop, Steve (who now does the occasional shift after running it for many years) appeared from inside. Nice to have a chat. He’d only popped out to see where to put a book in the window display!
