Tonight, after a long day in the service, I joined my two managers for a meal. It was lovely to have some company as usually I am on my own and although I dont mind most of the time, its great to have someone to chat to and relax with.
We were distracted a few times by people asking for money or cigarettes as we sat outside a pub, and one chap engaged in some long conversation about his mission to raise a lot of money to put up a statue in the Bay. My colleague tried to check out his website to no avail but I am sure he was quite genuine and also quite interested in my boss. I took this on my way back to my flat, it was nearly 10pm and a very warm and balmy evening.
