Richmond Park
Each year my brother and his family spend the Christmas holidays in Spain as that is where his wife is from. Consequently, in early December we hold 'Fauxliz Navidad' and have a celebration here.
This morning, my brother, Wol, and I took a run up to Richmond Park and ran around a section of it, doing just over ten miles altogether. I enjoyed the park enormously - it's simply beautiful and it's possibly the bit of London that I miss the most - but I enjoyed Wol's company even more.
After I'd showered and changed, I walked up to Worcester Park to meet Dan off the train and we went for a bacon roll together. Even though a large Christmas meal was just around the corner, I was ravenous after my run.
And we had a lovely afternoon and evening. Great food and company, and so convincingly Christmassy that I was confused when I walked Dan back to the station and there were some shops still open.
