Bearded old ladies

I had a great walk through our hood today. I've been educated by an old man who lives on the mount with us that you either adapt to the hilly walks or you die early. He referenced some "old maids" who lived well into their 90s on the mount (with beards) as though I should strive for this. Ha! I just love old men & their stories. Anywho, I am trying to build up my cranky knee so I can walk these hills for a long old time (beardless).
