Braid Burn At Dusk

The day started dark, with heavy clouds and the sun not rising until 8:38. Consequently, it was also a dark start to the working day.

I took a brief walk at lunchtime, shorter than usual, as I needed to buy a few more Christmas presents. Knowing which shops to visit made the errand quick.

After work, I took a dark walk down to Braidburn Valley Park (the sun had set at 15:37). The blip photo was taken at the far end of the park, capturing the last moments of dusk. There was a nice reflection of the sky in the Braid Burn, though it wasn't very blue. There was enough light to walk home, but we decided to avoid the very dark part of the park. Instead, we walked along a road with street lights and outdoor Christmas lights.
