Butterfly Heaven

I've had a rather unproductive day today with regards to the move - I had a dentist appointment followed by a visit to the hairdressers this afternoon, and my friend Marie invited me round for lunch in her garden. I haven't seen her since before we went to the South of France, and they've only just come back from Florida so we had lots to catch up on!

Unfortunately the hairdresser's called at lunch time to change my appointment as my hairdresser is off ill, so that's now on Wednesday afternoon, and after my visit to the dentist I have to go back for two fillings, and their only appointment is also on Wednesday afternoon! The timing isn't great being the day before the move, but I need to get it done, and it saves the urgency of having to find a hairdresser and a dentist as soon as we move.

When I got home there were so many butterflies on our Buddleia, which according to Wikipedia is otherwise known as Butterfly Heaven, and it certainly was today! There were even butterflies on the ground flapping their wings, I don't know what this means, whether they're trying to get cool, or maybe catching the sun, but I managed to get so many close up shots of them, it was the perfect blip opportunity.

Tonight my friend Irene is coming round with her car which she's lending us for two weeks while they're on holiday. Our car is a company car, so it goes back on Wednesday which is Alan's last day in work. And our other friend Chris is coming round to help Alan take our washing machine to the tip - it's old and not worth taking with us, plus there's one in the new house so it's one less thing to move. We're very lucky to have some good friends!

Tomorrow is a full day at home for me, finishing off the packing seeing as I'm not going to be able to do it on Wednesday. Then tomorrow night I've got a farewell dinner with the girls, so it will be a late blip tomorrow and I'll catch up with you on Wednesday - I daren't turn the computer on tomorrow otherwise I'll get nothing done!
