It's a wrap

Today saw my fifth (and last) festive meal (one supper and four lunches) in the run up to Christmas organised by different groups which I am involved in.  There were two others I could have gone to and a couple of others  organise events in January instead.  I am somewhat bemused (as well as stuffed) that I thought I would be saying farewell to group Christmas lunches when I retired.  Quite the opposite. I have enjoyed them all - it's been lovely sitting and chatting with different people in relaxed surroundings. 

Back home I did some wrapping of Christmas presents which revealed I still needed to buy one or two more things for A&R which I will do in town.
