Don’t Sit Here
When I came home after an appointment at the GP’s for jab #3, my office chair was taken. It’s dangerous for a black cat to lie down on a black chair, but the Munni-cat loves that place - and I hope I will always remember to check for a furry squatter, before I sit at my desk.
The extra is a picture I took in town. It’s the house where I had my first own flat. The two dormer windows on the right were my living room windows. The bedroom was at the back (very quiet for the middle of the city), and a narrow spiral staircase led to my tiny, sunny snug in the attic, which I liked a lot.
But the house was built in 1894 (with the ugly shops added much later in the 1960es), and had a lot of problems - like a damp basement and crumbling balconies. Consequently, all the owners had to pay more for repairs every year, so I said goodbye to this home in 2009.
