There's some colour on
the horizon this morning -
a new day begins!

As I was finishing my coffee about 7:30, I looked up to see bright colour in the sky. I walked out to the front of my house to catch the neighbouring palms against the morning light. 

An hour later, I was out in my backyard looking for birds. The first to arrive was my favourite, the mockingbird. It sat at the top of the orange tree surveying the world around him. It stayed long enough for me to catch several poses. 

I'm staying home for the day. I have some quilt fabric to finish organizing, then I have a video online to watch over lunch. It's an arty playday and I may not even get dressed.
