La vida de Annie

Es Grau.

Himself and Loki walked from Favaritx to es Grau this morning (2 hours), so between dropping them off and picking them up I went into town with a mission: to find a replacement part for the inner workings of the shower room loo. The proper hardware and plumbing store is closed on Sundays, so I tried the supermarket with household stuff. Here I found a number of similar parts, but none looked just like the old one I'd taken with me. While dithering, I overheard a pair of elderly English gentlemen endlessly discussing the merits of small piping joints, so to release them from the loop they'd got into I asked their opinion on my thing. After looking at all the options (and hanging them back up on the wrongly-priced hooks), one of them offered the sage advice to go to the plumbing merchants I had intended to visit, and that they'd be open in the morning, which I knew. Happy to have been of help (not really) they ambled off having forgotten the piping joints issue, probably to get away from the strange lady.
Extras are of Loki owning the empty beach at es Grau.
