Moth

I believe this is a cambrid snout moth and so does Google Lens. It's one of a large sub family of moths whose species are varied in appearance. This moth is tiny and even the macro lens couldn't provide any clues about its snout.

I had another busy day. First there was a session with the exercise physiologist and in the afternoon I met up with a friend for last drinks before Christmas. It was very hot today and all the tiny critters lay low so I was licky to find this one.

Then in the early evening a massive southerly buster came in blowing a hoolie and even bringing a small amount of rain. It's 9.30pm now and it's still blowie, although died down. I think I'll find some news and look at the damage.
