What a year! From being diagnosed with incurable cancer (and an Thyroid cancer as an added bonus), 10 weeks in hospital and being at my lowest ebb, out of my mind on morphine, copious amounts of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant to now with no sign of cancer and managing on paracetamol.
Life has changed so much for me and my family and friends but I've always tried to be positive and find the humour in the situation but can't deny it's been hard for all of us. Wouldn't have got through this without everyone's love and support. Didn't know if I'd still be here today or what my life would have been like but I'm not going anywhere (well not just yet) and making the best of my changed life. Bring in the next 12 months and see where that takes me ....
