Archery

AV2 - day 4

Archery is one of my favourite activities at camp! I didn't do particularly well this time though; the target was a little closer than I'm used to, so I kept shooting the arrows right over the top of it. We played an animal impersonation game and the cutlery game too, which meant I had to eat my dinner using two glasses, two spoons, and a fork.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon filling up big buckets of water in the river and carrying them across a field to a paddling pool for Sponge Wars. I don't know how much water I transported in that time but it was a lot! Sponge Wars itself was great fun although I got very very wet and the kids pushed me into the paddling pool about ten times.

We had an incredible "Encounter" meeting tonight, with an extended time of worship afterwards. I know I really felt God's presence and I think a lot of the kids did too!
