Glorious sunny day

Today was very warm and sunny and we did almost nothing all day. Just the way to spend one of the warmest days of summer.

I slept late, had breakfast, sat for a long time outside in the sun reading a book...

In the afternoon we drove to Egilsstaðir to have a soak and sunbath at the swimming-pool, coffee and cake at Salt Café and get some groceries for a BBQ-dinner. Just before we got back to Hjaltastaður we took a small detour to visit this lovely garden made and maintained by my mother-in-law's relatives in Rauðholt. It's called Jórunnarlundur (Jórunn's Grove) and it's just lovely!
