The Day the Rains Came

On Sunday the rain came. In fact it started with a tinder storm late Saturday but it was still raining Sunday morning. We went to Dobbies at Braehead for breakfast. No chance to sit outside today.

Later in the day I returned to Aberdeen, the journey north had accompanying rain most of the way, sometimes quite heavy. One or two large lakes crossing the entire road which was quite scary. Especially one which I hit as I was overtaking another vehicle. For a moment I was completely blinded by the spray.
