The Bowes Museum

R took me to Barnard Castle to visit the Bowes Museum and the Christmas Market. We visited the L.S. Lowry and Norman Cornish Exhibition. The Mechanical Swan, that we still haven’t seen working, but did look rather splendid. The Christmas market was also interesting, and we both bought items. It was in two parts, one inside and one outside, particularly the hot food. We had a great day. Thanks R.
