Tree and Nativity Scene

Mary and I did a bit of shopping this afternoon.  It feels like night time by quarter past 4 but the darkness makes it possible to enjoy the decorations on the steps of the Old Parish Church.  Last year the Borders towns all complained that their Christmas trees were too small and weedy.  This year the monster tree in Peebles anyway has made up for the tiddler we were given last year
