Madder Than A Box Of Frogs
It was bad enough when they managed to escape ...... but then they got organised!
I spent most of the morning changing bulbs, checking plugs and wiring .... and swearing a lot.
Running a powerline from the house I was able to confirm that all the lights, and equipment (lathes, bandsaw etc) were working ...... until I plugged them into the sockets fitted in the garage!
As much as I hated doing it (I am a coward when it comes to mains power) I opened the switch box and checked everything. There was nothing loose or broken which made me a bit worried that it was a problem inside the cable running from the house to the garage.
So I put everything back together, disconnected the powerline and went back into the house, unplugged the cable and switched the mains back on.
When I went back out to the garage I switched the light on (out of habit) .... and they came on!
So I plugged the lathes back in and damn me they worked...........
I have no idea what the problem was or what I did to fix things, but...........
After doing a bit of a shop and a cuppa I went and took the pictures of that unruly mob.
I didn't let them meet the others who live in the house rather than the box- - I think things might have really kicked off then.
