Visitors’ flowers
Now moved from their bedside table and put in my living room. Looking quite nice against the yellow wall which, in a few days, will be blue green. I think it could be 20 years ago that I painted my living room pale yellow and I liked it very much, but I’m happy with a change now. This is the first time I haven’t done my own decorating.
After my son and dil left - after late breakfast - I had a good go at doing my cards and gifts to post. Not quite done but nearly.
Late afternoon my Orkney friends and I streamed this week’s film - The Shop Around The Corner, 1940 starring James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. Great fun, and an intelligent, witty script. Set in the run-up to Christmas. Just right for a winter Sunday afternoon (on BBC I player for a few days only, if you’re interested).
