Wonky buildings - Lavenham

After a lazy, relaxed morning, we spent a glorious afternoon in Lavenham with our friends. I loved the buildings, none of which looked remotely straight - can you imagine trying to put any furniture in the upstairs floor of these buildings!

Even managed a gorgeous afternoon tea - I tried a savoury tea, which has cheese scones, mascarpone cheese (instead of cream) and chutney (instead of jam) - what a wonderful alternative! Finished the afternoon enjoying a beer in Marco Pierre White's hotel, looking at a gallery of David Bailey portraits.

I could get used to this life!

We're staying with friends who design and make kitchens - this is theirs, and I so want one!
