Sunset at the Bridge to Nowhere

Yesterday it poured most of the day so it wasn't unti late afternoon I could contemplate taking a blip.
I suddenly had a yen to do a sunset but the weather was so unsettled it was distinctly uncertain whether there would be a sunset to take. In the meantime I had to look around for a supplementary blip just in case. For about twenty minutes I chased bees around our fuschia bush and ended up with one or two possibles.

When sunset arrived several hours later my initial hunch had proved right and the sunset after a storm provided some dramatic shots. I have chosen one in which I combined several exposures to create and HDR.
