Visiting Leona's

A horrid day of strong gales and rain, heavy at times.  Calmer in the village tonight, dry too.

Up fairly early for a Sunday.  A lazy morning doing my jigsaw. Headed out after noon, Christmas card deliveries.  First stop was along Caroline and Victor, at the old Vidlin Schoolhouse, then popped along cousin Leona.  Nipped along Madeline's on our way home. Popped into Lerwick for some grocery shopping this evening.  Finally got a good walk with Sammy.  Now feet up before bed.

With such a horrible wet day, some family time was a great way to get out the house.  The bairns were high, stuck indoors all day, and fairly excited about Christmas not far away.  Plenty of stories to catchup with, including Irvine's recent achievement, the Scottish champion for playing accordion under 12s.  The bairns are growing fast now! L-R - Irvine, Ashlyn, Alicia and Callie.  Taken at their home, Vidlin.
