Still poorly

Another travel day. After breakfast with K I packed up and headed over to Kt’s for coffee. Nice to see her and Heston, as well as her brother who was there, home from his RAF base, full of cold. We chatted for a while then I set off north.
I’d downloaded a new book…The Bookbinder of Jericho by Pip Williams which was linked to the previous one of hers (the Dictionary of lost words) that we’d enjoyed at Book Group. Not much traffic on the road and the book being really good helped the hours whizz by and before long I was at A&N’s. They loved the chair S had reupholstered and we chatted over a cup of tea.
Last stretch to home and a parking space on the street…always a win! Got the heating on, opened my post and got some laundry on. I didn’t start writing lists but instead just relaxed a bit and watched some recorded tv including the last episode of Shetland. FaceTimed Mt to ask about AR’s party, but it seems they’d had to cancel it as yesterday she was still quite poorly. She came downstairs whilst we were chatting but still looked pale and not well. Poor little sausage…..
