Rest & relaxation in Dad & Jen's peaceful & beautiful garden.

We trekked over to Herne Bay, on the Kent coast, & spent the day with Dad & Jenny, & enoyed the afternoon sunshine. We reclined in the garden & had a lovely big salad made by Jenny snr, followed by a key lime pie made by Jenny jnr. Lovely.

Thunder & lightning & some proper rain fall broke early evening & accordingly, we made for the caravan at Whitstable to visit Ian & Lynne, who are down for the week from up North. We stayed a little later than planned & had a few beers but it was great to see them.

Oh & true to form, we left from Dad & Jen's with more than we'd arrived with - a Christmas tree & decorations made up our goody bag today! Not quite what I expected. We were given a loveyl corner lamp on our previous visit. They are moving & so it's very sweet they're thinking of what we could make use of. We now have as many Christmas trees as we have bedrooms.. might have to investigate boot fairs.
