Christmas Mice
Today I started on the Christmas Decorations a day later than I usually put them up, not sure where the day went.
I did pop to see Joan & luckily Eileen was there, so I gave her the gifts I got her for Christmas, I don't usually give her anything, but as I've got to know her a little more I felt it would be nice to give her a little something; she was happy to get it & was looking well, but chatted about her operation she's to have in the new year..... I hope all goes well for her.
She spoke of problems if she doesn't come round after the op all very matter of fact. Bless her.
When we left I wished Eileen well & hope to see her again soon.
I then went for a walk to the St. Wilfred's Charity shop where I bought a Stainless Steel Kettle; my plan is to drill a hole in it & hang it up for a Birds nest.
Home for Lunch then to continue with the Christmas decorations, as you can see I'm loving the Christmas Mice & have been buying them over the past 2 years, they're so cute.
Joan phoned me in a panic... she needs new batteries for her remote control; luckily we got one working; so she's happy now she can watch her TV.
Happy Christmas to all the Carers out there.
